At the onset of the global outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the government of Namibia has swiftly enacted strict lock-down measures to prevent a spread of the virus in Namibia. These early measures have made Namibia one of the countries globally which are the least affected today. As of May 2020, there are still only very few reported cases and the government has started to partially phase out some of the lock-down measures whilst still actively monitoring the situation and mandating special Covid-19 rules and regulations for business to operate under.
At Omurenga, we have taken the necessary precautionary measures to ensure our guests' safety. Due to our relatively small size and remote location, we are confident that Omurenga continues to be a great and safe vacation spot, with very limited exposure to other people, or even the staff.
